2. The Columbia Environmental Research Center :
  The Columbia Environmental Research Center provides leadership and scientific information for the U.S. Geological Survey by addressing national and international environmental contaminant issues, and assessing effects of habitat alterations on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. This includes large-river floodplains, coastal habitats, wetlands, and lakes.
3. Medical Ecological Geography - National Institute of Medical Ecogeography :
  An integral approach to determination of power with which a human organism regulates its vital functions, and a study of combined impact of ecological surrounding within a specified region, distinguish the Medical Ecogeography (MEG) from both medicine and ecology.
4. Ecogeography Branch of the Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) :
  The Ecogeography Branch investigates spatial and quantitative relationships among the biotic and abiotic components of the environment. The Branch coordinates integrated research efforts within Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) on river systems to evaluate biomarkers used for monitoring chemical contaminants and to investigate biological responses to physical changes and study the links between them.
