Team / IURS / NCSR 
The Environmental Team of the Institute for Urban and Rural Sociology / National Center for Social Research has been operating since November 1995. Data from the researches and studies and of the whole project is available at the electronic web site of NCSR (EKKE in Greek) by the title «Environmental Corner».
There you can find:
- Database for the Environmental Institutions. The database includes Ministries, Services of the broader Public sector, Universities, Technological Institutes, Research Centers, Peripheries (Regions), Local Administrations (Sections with the respective responsibilities, updated in 2001)
- Database for the Environmental - Ecological NGO’s. Identification data, administrative council, Information sources, Collaboration with: the press, the mass media, other environmental organizations and Institutions, Publications, (updating will be continued till the end of November 2001)
- Subjects concerning Environmental Education a) Educational and vocational training project (EPEAEK in Greek) courses b) Search guide for Environmental Education subjects in Internet c) directory of Greek electronic sites including reports on environmental subjects d) directory of Greek electronic sites concerning environmental issues.
The Category "Collaboration - Hospitality" includes articles - publications from Environmental Institutions - People relevant to the above subjects. In addition, our page includes "Directories of Educational audiovisual data" (from the Ministry of Culture and from New Hellenic Television).
Databases including Yugoslavian and Rumanian Institutions and N.G.O.'s
- E.O. (still under development) are shown in our web page in the same
way as the respective Greeks by implementing DAC programme with the title
"Centres for Environmental Information".
