The EU is reviewing its climate policies and planning new actions in the European Climate Change Program (ECCP). The review was started with a large stakeholder conference on October 24, 2005 and continue with review of climate policy and development of new proposals. A number of working groups are reviewing results of the previous European Climate Change Program, and developing proposals for new areas such as aviation and CO2 sequestration. Results will come after the final sessions of the working groups April - June 2006, and will be published in a communication from the Commission.
