Biomass is becoming a key source of renewable energy. It represents a great new employment source for the rural areas. Expobioenergνa'06 aims to gives visitors the opportunity to get into a new and necessary market: in the Iberian peninsula. New business possibilities will be opened up in a territory that has great amount of raw material and a very hight consumer demand (53 milion people). The Technological Fair for the biomass energy value increase in the Iberian Peninsula will be the meeting point of all the bioenergy value chain, and most importantly, a showcase of technology for the end-consumer. From countries all over Europe, exhibitors will be exhibiting state-of-the-art technology in the world of bioenergy: latest technology for the production, use and generation of bioenergy will be showcased under one roof. The builder fair VIVIENDA will be held in paralell to the Iberian Bioenergy Congress, featuring a bioenergy excursion and a live demonstration of biomass exploitation forest machines.
