  This is the Environmental Education Garden of the North Carolina Office of Environmental Education The Objectives of the Environmental Education Garden are to: Demonstrate sustainable North Carolina native plant species that attract butterflies, birds, and other wildlife to an urban area. Serve as a training site for environmental educators to teach students about the relationship between plants and wildlife. Encourage state employees to use the garden to further their achievement of Environmental Education Certification. Provide a model garden for other workplaces and homes to emulate.

  The EEB is a federation of 134 environmental citizens organisations based in all EU Member States and most Accession countries, as well as a few neighbouring countries. They range from local and national to European and international. The aim of the EEB is to protect and improve the environment of Europe and to enable the citizens of Europe to play their part in achieving that goal The EEB office in Brussels was established in 1974 to provide as a focal point for its members to monitor and respond to the emerging EU environmental policy.

10. World water council :
  The World Water Council is the International Water Policy Think Tank that was founded in 1996, following recommendations issued at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit. It brings together more than 300 members from about 40 countries in a unique network. The mission of the WWC is to promote awareness of critical water issues at all levels, including the highest decision-making level, to facilitate efficient conservation, protection, development, planning, management and use of water in all its dimensions on an environmentally sustainable basis for the benefit of all life on the earth.
